Wendell Cox and Joshua Utt of the Heritage Foundation have authored a well-thought out and interesting take on the fallacies used to advance the cause against urban sprawl.

I always was skeptical of some of the arguments against urban sprawl. My opposition to urban sprawl is rather superficial. I just think cities with large and vibrant downtowns are more fun, and are more apt to add personality beyond the chain restaurants and chain retail stores characteristic of suburbia.
