Much will likely be made of George Tenet's resignation. The media should take a cue from Shakespeare. It will be much ado about nothing.

Tenet has been Director of the CIA for seven years. That's through two administrations. People typically don't stay in jobs like this that long, especially through multiple administrations, and his departure, frankly, just by the averages, is overdue.
