Turns out John Kerry was in Cambodia after Christmas - why, precisely, we don't know. Perhaps while on leave he decided to check out the countryside.

This Cambodia thing is indicative of the loose control that the Kerry people have over their campaign and the setting of the issues. This Cambodian debacle is days gone where the Kerry message has not been heard (a new one should be out any time now), only serving to reemphasize the "nuanced" view of Kerry the candidate, which is becoming more of a punchline than a sign of sophistication.
