Unless you are politically oblivious, or have just finished the second gallon of your Kerry Kool-Aid today alone, you are aware that one presidential candidate is more favored than another among veterans groups. The interesting question is to coverage. If Kerry has a similar response as he did last week with the VFW, and Bush is given several standing ovations, will it be reported?
Last week, when John Kerry took a stab at speaking to veterans, the results were decidedly not mixed. A lot of folded arms, tepid applause, and a few backs. I suspect his next stab at America's veterans will meet with a similar response, though you can bet the Kerry advance people will do their best to make sure the VFW medicine is not readministered with the American Legion.|||109312086395512272|||Study in Contrasts
