Republican delegates are being described in two very different ways. Many writers have made these delegates out to be simple-minded hicks who are going to be scared and confused by the big city. This makes the writers out to be snobs, as they believe the delegates must be sheltered and unsophiscated to hold conservative values. On the other hand, protesters are dressing up as "Billionaires for Bush" and a political cartoon showed a female delegate asking for Grey Poupon on her hot dog. So, what are we? Are we dumb simpletons who will cower in the dazzling capital of the world, or are we incredibly wealthy (certainly with the means to travel to any city in the world and enjoy the best accommodations) and cunning in our accumulation of wealth?

It's the same inconsistency given to the Bush administration. Bush is a bumbling idiot who can't pronounce the English language and thinks he's a cowboy. At the same time, he has also somehow planned world domination and control of the planet's oil resources. That's incredible!
