Just when there seems to be a source of hope glimmering in secondary education, the laughing gnome of political tomfoolery twists it away.

An english teacher puts a picture of George W. Bush on the bulletin board...along with pictures of all the other presidents. Apparently, this is a problem, because the public school system in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey, cannot count past 42.

The vice principal went on to criticize the teacher for, get this, her "inflammatory politics".

Don't worry, at least the teacher understands the Constitution - that's a nice change of pace.

UPDATE Apparently, Sarah already blogged on this very subject. Blogger disjunction is always a danger when the fervor for blogging exceeds the expectation that one should read their own group (er, couple) blog.
