For those of you who remember, as I know it seems like ages ago with the metaphorical hurtling train of a presidential election year, Zell Miller did not receive such favorable coverage after the RNC (uninformed comments about anger abounded, puzzled queries...why? why?).

However, almost-Democrat Lincold Chafee of Rhode Island gets the Grey Lady's royal treatment.
