Yes, in Tennessee, actual salvos are being fired at the Bush campaign. Last week, a troubled young man stole Bush / Cheney yard signs from a few dozen yards, rounded them up, and shot them in protest. Yesterday, a troubled pro-gun Democrat layed two rounds into an East Tennesee Bush / Cheney headquarters.

I guess we have our answer as to why the Democratic party is no longer making noise about gun control...
