We punish those who unjustly torture and punish those we capture in war's advancing the cause of freedom. Our standards are higher than those of our enemies, and we ought to be proud of that fact.

Criticize Abu Ghraib - please. It's a good thing to remedy it now. The difference is that we don't cover it up - we remedy it and hold our own accountable.
