Sharon Cobb has a rather emotional and pollyanic post on the protest / sit-ins at the governor's office. I'm not quite willing to side with Sharon on this. Her cause and the Republican cause make rather strange bed fellows, and quite frankly, I'm beginning to get a little creeped out.

The "sit-in's" here are for what can only be considered a privileged benefit from a benevolent people - not a right, and not attempting to remedy a real discriminatory act. There seems to be a movement afoot to liken the protestor's activity to the rather remarkable civil rights protests in Nashville from the 1960s. Not so. They complain they cannot eat. They complain they cannot drink. They are there by choice. They complain that state troopers keep talking and they cannot sleep...how horribly troubling. I'm sorry - this is rather silly. We can have an honest debate about TennCare cuts, but this is a stunt, and a bad one, pure and simple.

The worst part of all this is that for all these alleged "sacrifices", not an ounce of policy change will come of it. Doesn't anyone realize that?

Not to worry. I'm not creepy at all. :)

Some good has already come out of the sit-ins. Tuesday, Bredesen met with us and agreed to allow those on respirators to keep their home health care nurses. (they were scheduled to be cut)

Also not so creepy is the documents I've uncovered which show Bredesen is going to "front load"--give th ebad news now so he can be magnanimous and add people back before the election in 06. Please watch my documentary...it's only 29 minutes long, before you make a decision about all of this.
You can watch it for free at www.tenncare.org. I am not associated with this group, but letting them use my documentary.
Back to the documents. I am afraid maintream media has be woefully lazy about reporting some astounding info in some of them.
If you don't want to read them on my blog, and if you don't want to watch my documentary, (which will clearly show you Phil is playing politics with the lives of people) then head over to the courthouse and go through the almost 50 boxes of evidence from discovery that verify everything I've stated. You're a lawyer. You'll probably see even more revelations than I did. At least give me credit for doing this for free when mainstream media should have been all over these documents.
Feel free to pop on over to my site and join in some of the discussions. We have a few libertarians under the Michael Moore post, and it's a pretty good discussion. There is another lawyer in on that one.
Anyhow, letting you know not to get too creeped out. The only thing creepy is Phil Bredesen and his ability to lie so well. He is a masterful politician...up there with Bill Clinton in his skills.
Okee dokee. A busy mornign ahead.
Look for some interesting things to come out of the conference in DC in the morning.
Peace and Love,babe,
Sharon
